This course combines both 200-hour foundational training and 300-hour advanced training into one complete journey. Students learn classical Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga principles, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, mantras, kriya practices, and yogic lifestyle. The training also emphasizes modern anatomy, biomechanics, injury prevention, posture analysis, sequencing, and therapeutic applications to ensure safe, effective teaching.
Through daily guided practice, philosophy lectures, discussions, teaching practicums, and personal mentorship, students gain a profound understanding of the yogic system—from physical practice to subtle energy work.

Certification- Yoga Alliance
Upon successful completion of the 500-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at Sambodhi Yoga Home, students will be eligible to register as 500-hour yoga teachers (RYT-500) with Yoga Alliance. This certification acknowledges that the graduate has met the rigorous standards set by Yoga Alliance for advanced yoga teaching and is qualified to teach yoga globally.
Design:
The training is designed to challenge and evolve individuals at all levels by academically graduated teachers and researchers. This 500-hour course mainly focuses on Hatha yoga and Ashtanga, with an emphasis on the breath and synchronizing with the movements, alignment and adjustments. By understanding these main styles of yoga: Hatha and Ashtanga, you will cover around 80% of the practices followed around the world. This course is for those who want to taste the essence of yoga science (from where yoga is originated) and want to transform life. As a result, you may experience more liberation, blissful and peaceful.
How everyday looks like:
You will begin with the morning yoga practice (mantra chanting, two hours of Hatha yoga class followed by pranayama and meditation) by listening to the chirping sound of birds, a pure natural breath of the Himalayas inside the yoga retreat. The afternoons are focused on deep analysis of each asanas, breathing of asanas (yoga poses), alignment and adjustments of yoga, pranayama (control over prana) with breathing, mudras (yogic/psychic gesture) and teaching methodology. You will also learn yoga anatomy (mechanism of yoga). In the evening you will practice the Ashtanga style of yoga.
Yoga teacher training syllabus:
Yogasana (yoga pose):
- This training includes 100 yoga postures with four main Sthiti (standing asanas, sitting asanas, supine asanas and prone asanas).
- You will learn breathing, awareness, benefits and contraindication of each yoga pose.
- You will learn from simple yet effective yoga poses to advanced toga poses such as headstand, king pigeon pose, arm balancing pose etc.
- Modification, variations, and advanced variations of the asana.
